This small collier was rammed while blacked out at anchor in Lerwick harbour during a cold January morning in 1918. She lies in 40m and is just a couple of hundred metres from Somerfields supermarket carpark!!
When I first dived her in the late 80’s she was mostly intact. However, since then she has suffered a lot of damage from Klondyker anchor chains. The decking at the rear of the ship has been completely torn away. On the positive side, this revealed a few interesting artifacts including a ships log and sextant.
Filmed during 2003 with Sony VX2000 and Halcyon housing.
